Instagram Data Deletion Instructions

Effective date: 2025-08-01

This page explains how to revoke Onlypult’s access to your Instagram account and how to request deletion of related data (“Instagram Platform Data”).

What will be deleted

When you remove Onlypult or request deletion, we delete Instagram Platform Data associated with your connected account, including:

  • Account: account ID, username, profile picture URL.
  • Media: media IDs, media URLs, captions, timestamps.
  • Engagement: comments, replies and their IDs.
  • Messaging (if enabled): Direct‑message thread IDs, participants, message texts.
  • Insights (aggregated): reach, impressions, audience demographics.
  • Access: long‑lived access token and its expiry.

How to delete — 3 options

Option A — Remove Onlypult in Instagram

  1. Open Instagram → Settings → Security → Apps and websites.
  2. Under Active, find Onlypult and click Remove.

Option B — Remove account in Onlypult

  1. Open the Instagram account you want to remove in Onlypult.
  2. Go to Account Settings for this account.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  4. Click Delete account.
  5. Confirm deletion in the modal.

Option C — Email our privacy team

Email privacy@onlypult.com from the address linked to your Onlypult account and include your Instagram @username.

Timing & confirmation

  • We delete related Instagram Platform Data within 30 days of deauthorization or a valid request.
  • Backups are purged within the same 30‑day period.
  • If required by law, we may retain minimal records (e.g., invoices or security logs) for the periods mandated by applicable law; such records are not used for any other purpose.

What is not deleted

  • Content stored on Instagram itself (posts, messages, comments) remains in your Instagram account unless you remove it in Instagram.
  • Data related to other platforms you connected to Onlypult (e.g., YouTube, X/Twitter) is covered by their respective deletion pages and processes.
