In 2023, Meta plans to launch Meta work accounts for select businesses. These accounts will provide secure access to Meta Quest for Business, benefiting both you and your organization. Work accounts can be managed on Admin Center, with features including single sign-on, automated account provisioning, and two-factor authentication. This article aims to inform you about the necessary preparations for adopting a Meta work account in the future.

Quick facts

  1. Meta Quest for Business is currently only available in the United States.
  2. With Meta work accounts, individuals can access Meta’s work tools with one account that provides a separate login from their personal Facebook accounts.
  3. Meta work accounts FAQ
  4. Meta’s own work accounts help center

How might this impact you and your profiles?

Businesses undergoing migration to Meta work accounts will transition users from using their Facebook accounts to using their work credentials to access Business Manager. Access to the business assets, such as pages and ad accounts, will be transitioned from Facebook accounts to their new profile in Business Manager.

This means, any Facebook & Instagram Business profiles that have been connected to Onlypult via a personal Facebook account that is moved to a work account will need to be reconnected.
