How to Convert Your Instagram Account to a Business Profile

If you want to convert your personal Instagram profile to a business profile, follow these steps:

  1. Create a Facebook Business Page. If you don’t have one, follow Facebook’s instructions to set it up.
  2. Go to your Instagram profile and tap the three lines icon in the top right.
  3. Select Settings and privacy → Account types and tools.
  4. Choose Business and tap Continue.
  5. Select a category and tap Next.
  6. Enter your contact info or tap Don’t Use My Contact Info.
  7. Connect your Facebook Page by selecting one from the list or creating a new one.

Important: To connect to Iconosquare, your Instagram business profile must be linked to a Facebook page.

If errors occur, ensure you have admin rights on the Facebook page or convert your profile via the Facebook mobile app: Menu → Pages → Settings → Instagram → Convert to Business Profile.
